Customer Service Officer

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Officer to support the daily operations of their preschool centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, prospective customers, and visitors, providing professional and timely assistance.
• Handle enquiries related to enrolment, school operations, and centre services.
• Support enrolment processes, maintain registration records, and manage the waiting list.
• Process and monitor school fee collection accurately.
• Answer incoming calls professionally, direct enquiries, and take messages when required.
• Welcome visitors and ensure security procedures are followed at all times.
• Prepare administrative reports and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ensure all centre files, reports, and databases are updated and organized.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Maintain the reception area, office, and common areas in a clean and professional manner.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Process petty cash claims and support general administrative duties.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, children, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Support the centre in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children and visitors.
• Attend training sessions and professional development programmes as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field.
• Prior experience in customer service, front desk, reception, or administrative support, preferably in the education or childcare sector.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to handle enquiries professionally.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general administrative systems.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and responsible.
• Able to handle challenging customer situations calmly and professionally.
