Delivery driver

Job Description

We are a growing commercial laundry services provider looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely collection of soiled linens/garments and the delivery of clean laundry to our corporate clients (hotels, hospitals, gyms, or F&B outlets) across Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Deliveries & Collections: Safely drive and operate the company vehicle to execute scheduled delivery and collection routes.

• Loading & Unloading: Load clean laundry into the vehicle and unload soiled laundry from client locations. (Note: Items are typically packed in bags or loaded onto laundry trolleys).

• Client Relations: Maintain a professional and polite demeanor when interacting with clients during drop-offs and pick-ups.

• Inventory Check: Verify the quantity of laundry bags/trolleys collected or delivered against the delivery orders (DO) or invoices.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and report any mechanical issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately.

• Ad-hoc Tasks: Assist with simple packing or sorting in the laundry plant when required or during downtime.
  Job Requirements

  • Valid Driving License: Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 driving license with a clean driving record.

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a driver in Singapore. Experience in the laundry, textile, or hospitality logistics sector is an advantage.

  • Route Familiarity: Good knowledge of Singapore roads and GPS navigation apps to ensure efficient route planning.

  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and comfortable handling heavy loads, as the job requires lifting laundry bags and pushing heavy linen trolleys.

  • Language Skills: Ability to speak and read basic English to understand delivery orders and communicate with clients.

  • Attitude: Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
