Field Sampling Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Field Sampling Technician to conduct on-site sample collection activities at client premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, handling, documenting, and transporting samples in accordance with laboratory procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

KeyResponsibilities

• Visit client sites to perform sampling.
• Collect samples such as food, water, surface swabs, or other materials according to approved procedures.
• Ensure proper sample labelling, preservation, storage, and transportation.
• Complete field documentation, chain-of-custody forms, and sampling records accurately.
• Coordinate sampling schedules within the team.
• Support laboratory activities when required.

Requirements

• Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Must have valid Class 3 and/or 2A driving license.
• Able to work independently and travel to client premises.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Presentable and physically fit.
• Able to work 5.5 days per week.
