FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer support and build strong relationships with customers during on-site visits.
• Perform on-site installation, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot equipment faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and submit accurate service reports after each service visit.
• Work closely with team members and provide support to ensure service assignments are completed efficiently.
• Perform other service-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in field servicing.
• Experience in the repair and servicing of refrigeration systems, compressed-air systems or related equipment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in the installation and removal of valves and pipe fittings will be an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot, test, repair and service mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Good communication skills and basic proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Minimum NiTEC, professional certificate or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Possess a positive working attitude and be an active team player.
• Able to work independently at customer sites.
