Hivebotics is a Singapore-based robotics company building automation and robotics solutions for real-world deployment. As we grow our installed base, we need hands-on technicians tosupport the rollout, setup, and maintenance of our robotics systems at client sites.

Role Overview

We are hiring DeploymentTechnicians to support on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Hivebotics robotics systems. You will work closely with our Field ServiceEngineer, assisting with hands-on setup work, hardware checks, and client-site support during deployments. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone mechanically or technically inclined who wants to build a career in field robotics and automation. Training will be provided on the job.

This role reports into the FieldServices team.

Key Responsibilities

•      Support on-site deployment, installation, and commissioning of robotics systems at client locations.

•      Assist with hardware assembly, wiring checks, and basic mechanical/electrical setup under guidance.

•      Carry out routine testing, calibration, and troubleshooting during and after deployment.

•      Support on-site fault diagnosis and basic repairs, escalating complex issues as needed.

•      Maintain accurate records of deployment activities, issues encountered, and resolutions.

•      Ensure tools, spare parts, and equipment are prepared and accounted for before and after each deployment.

•      Follow safety procedures and site-specific requirements at all client locations.

Requirements

•      Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field.

•      0 to 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates and technically-inclined candidates are welcome to apply.

•      Comfortable with hands-on, physical work, including basic tools, wiring, and mechanical assembly.

•      Willingness to learn robotics hardware and systems on the job.

•      Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a small team.

•      Based in Singapore and able to work on-site full-time.

•      Valid driving license is an advantage but not required.
