Job Summary

Bastille seeks a friendly Front of House Service Crew to deliver warm customer experiences and support daily bakery operations, ensuring smooth service and collaboration with kitchen teams.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers warmly to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Accurately take customer orders and process payments efficiently
• Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and espresso-based drinks, to meet customer expectations
• Maintain cleanliness and attractive presentation of dining and service areas throughout shifts
• Replenish product displays to ensure fresh and appealing presentation
• Provide informed product recommendations and respond to customer enquiries clearly
• Perform daily opening and closing tasks to support bakery operations
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bakery teams to deliver seamless customer service

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality, café, restaurant, or bakery front-of-house service
• Strong customer service skills demonstrated through positive interactions with customers
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Effective communication skills in English to assist customers and coordinate with team members
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Barista experience to prepare coffee and espresso-based beverages
