Job Summary

You will provide friendly, efficient service by greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and resolving concerns professionally to ensure a positive dining experience at LUKES.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders to ensure a positive first impression
• Recommend menu items based on your knowledge to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Enter orders efficiently into the point-of-sale system and process payments accurately using credit card readers or cash registers
• Calculate and return change swiftly to maintain smooth transaction flow
• Maintain daily cleanliness by clearing tables, returning trays, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing kitchen utensils to uphold hygiene standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to coordinate service and resolve issues
• Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve problems according to outlet policies to maintain customer satisfaction
• Maintain a neat appearance by wearing the designated uniform and following the corporate dress code
• Assist fellow servers during busy periods or as needed to support team efficiency
• Thank guests sincerely and invite them to return to encourage repeat business
• Complete any additional tasks assigned to support restaurant operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage menu items to provide genuine recommendations
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
