GARAGE MECHANIC (AUTOMOBILE)

Job Description

• Inspect, diagnose and repair motor vehicles.
• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Repair or replace engine, brake, suspension, gearbox and electrical components.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle faults.
• Carry out oil changes, tyre checks, battery checks and other routine maintenance.
• Ensure all repair works are completed safely and properly.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment and cleanliness.
• Assist with other workshop duties when required.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in automobile repair and maintenance.
• Able to diagnose and repair common vehicle mechanical faults.
• Knowledge of vehicle engine, brake, suspension and electrical systems.
• Able to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Responsible, hardworking and able to work independently.
• Able to work overtime or on weekends when required.
