General Manager

We are searching for an experienced General Manager to lead and grow a multi-outlet F&B business in Singapore.
This is not a day-to-day operations role. We are looking for a commercially astute leader who can think strategically, build high-performing teams, drive sustainable growth, and transform the business for its next stage of expansion.
You will work closely with the business owners to set direction, execute strategy, and ensure the organisation consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences and strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's long-term business strategy and growth roadmap.
- Identify new revenue opportunities, market trends, and competitive advantages.
- Drive business transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Translate strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes.
Commercial & Financial Performance
- Own the overall P&L and financial performance of the business.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
Business Development & Growth
- Identify opportunities to expand revenue through new products, partnerships, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements.
- Evaluate potential new outlets, concepts, and investment opportunities.
- Build relationships with landlords, suppliers, business partners, and key stakeholders.
- Champion innovation that enhances customer value and strengthens the brand.
Operations Oversight
- Provide strategic direction to the Operations team while ensuring operational excellence across all outlets.
- Establish systems, governance, and accountability that enable consistent execution.
- Review business performance regularly and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, employment, and regulatory requirements.
Leadership & Organisational Development
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing leadership team.
- Develop future leaders through coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
- Lead organisational change effectively as the business grows.
Customer & Brand Strategy
- Champion customer-centric thinking throughout the organisation.
- Ensure the business continually improves customer experience and loyalty.
- Guide product, menu, pricing, and service strategies to strengthen market positioning.
- Protect and elevate the company's brand reputation.
Data, Systems & Digital Transformation
- Drive a data-informed culture by using business intelligence and analytics to support decision-making.
- Champion digital initiatives that improve productivity, customer experience, and profitability.
- Ensure management reporting provides timely, actionable insights for decision-making.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 10 years' leadership experience, with significant experience in senior management within the F&B, hospitality, or consumer-facing industries.
Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations and delivering profitable business growth.
Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance.
Proven ability to develop and execute business strategy.
Experience leading organisational transformation and managing change.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into strategic decisions.
Comfortable using business reporting tools, Microsoft Excel, and digital systems to manage performance.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Able to balance strategic thinking with decisive execution.
Must be comfortable with ambiguity and resilient, thriving in a dynamic environment where not every situation has a clear playbook.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias towards action, accountability, and continuous improvement.
