Housekeeper / Room Attendant

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant (Rooms) ensures suites and work areas are immaculately clean and comfortable, delivering a welcoming experience that meets brand standards and guest expectations at Raffles Hotel Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Maintain suites and assigned sections immaculately clean and comfortable to promote a positive image of hotel rooms.
• Perform all housekeeping tasks in compliance with hotel code of ethics
• Deliver room experiences that meet brand SOP, local SOP, and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards to achieve management targets
• Observe and anticipate residents’ needs discreetly, providing prompt, efficient, and personalized service
• Communicate residents’ preferences to the Assistant Manager for follow-up and guest profile updates
• Report and hand over lost and found articles to the Housekeeping office immediately
• Align service standards and individual performance with Accor Values including Guest Passion, Trust, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation, and Respect
• Support the hotel’s CSR and sustainability initiatives through daily work practices
• Organize and maintain pantries and work areas in pristine condition throughout and at shift end
• Ensure all equipment used is clean and in good working condition at all times
• Plan and organize own workflow to complete all assigned duties before shift end
• Adapt flexibly to operational and departmental changes with a positive attitude
• Adhere strictly to Work Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Managers
• Participate actively in colleague meetings and related activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• English communication skills (written and spoken) are ideal but not mandatory
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with multicultural awareness to collaborate effectively with diverse colleagues
• Exhibit service orientation with strong attention to detail
• Work efficiently and independently under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Show flexibility and responsiveness to change
• Self-motivated with a proactive work approach
