Junior Customer Service (Airfreight Export)

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Junior Customer Service (Airfreight Export):

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls and respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate air export shipments with customers, overseas agents, airlines, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Arrange flight bookings and coordinate with the procurement team on space reservations.
• Review Air Waybills (AWB), House Air Waybills (HAWB), and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update operational information in the system in a timely manner.
• Liaise with overseas agents on shipment requirements, freight rates, and operational matters.
• Prepare and provide freight quotations and obtain customer approval prior to shipment execution.
• Provide customers with shipment status updates, flight schedules, and timely notification of any shipment delays or operational issues.
• Monitor shipment uplift, transit progress, and final delivery to ensure service commitments are met.
• Ensure compliance with customer SOPs, aviation security requirements, Dangerous Goods Regulations (where applicable), and company procedures.
• Support timely job completion, documentation, invoicing, and file closure in accordance with operational KPIs.
• Investigate and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and shipment-related issues in collaboration with internal teams.
• Escalate operational concerns promptly and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist team members with shipment execution and provide operational support when required.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by the reporting manager.
• Comply with workplace Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Training is provided.; candidates with up to 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or airfreight operations will have an advantage.
• Basic understanding of airfreight export operations and shipping documentation is preferred.
• Knowledge of IATA regulations and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication, interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
• Customer-focused with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 3,200 +AWS +VB 
• Working Location: Changi Airport
• Working Hours: Days: Wednesday to Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
