Key Account Executive – Contract Logistics

Job Summary

You will develop and maintain strong client relationships, act as the primary contact for key accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions that drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned key accounts to foster loyalty and growth
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and key clients, ensuring clear communication and responsiveness
• Analyze client objectives and challenges to propose effective logistics solutions and services
• Collaborate with Sales, Custom Brokerage, Operations, Customer Service, Project, and Solution teams to meet client needs efficiently
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to achieve growth targets
• Manage and monitor all RFI, RFQ, and RFP documentation for timely and accurate submission
• Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and proposals to clients and stakeholders
• Participate in Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews (QBR/MBR) with clients to assess satisfaction and uncover opportunities
• Consolidate monthly reports from contract logistics departments and review findings with the Logistics Director
• Support contract logistics administrative tasks including tenancy agreements, insurance, vendor quotations, and QHSE policy compliance with internal stakeholders
• Resolve client issues promptly and professionally, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain accurate records of all account interactions and activities to ensure transparency and accountability
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities relevant to key accounts to inform strategic decisions
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, audits, and operational reviews to maintain service quality
• Support contract renewals, negotiations, and ensure compliance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform extended sitting or standing and use standard office equipment.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualifications
• Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and contract logistics
• Experience in business development within logistics
