Key Account Specialist (Manufacturing)

Salary: $3,500 – $5,000

Overview
Manage assigned customer accounts while supporting strategic key accounts. Drive account growth, coordinate quotations and projects, and act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams across Singapore, Malaysia, and China operations.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Business Growth

• Manage and grow assigned customer accounts
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels
• Identify new business opportunities, product expansions, and revenue growth initiatives
• Support RFQs, sourcing activities, and new program launches
• Maintain and develop account opportunity pipelines

Commercial & Quotation Management

• Coordinate RFQs, costing inputs, and quotation submissions
• Follow up on quotations, pricing revisions, and commercial discussions
• Track quotation status and conversion opportunities

Project & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Support NPI and project execution from quotation to production
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
• Monitor project milestones, customer deliverables, and action items
• Facilitate collaboration across manufacturing sites in Singapore, Malaysia, and China

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

• Coordinate customer inquiries, complaints, and corrective actions
• Track issue resolution and provide timely customer updates
• Maintain accurate account, project, and reporting documentation

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline
• Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Experience in account management, sales support, customer service, project coordination, or manufacturing environments is advantageous
• Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Knowledge of manufacturing, precision engineering, EMS, plastics, or contract manufacturing is an advantage
