Job Description - MANAGER (RESTAURANT)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards, and achieving sales and operational targets. We are seeking a committed individual who is willing to grow with the company on a long-term basis.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
  • Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance.
  • Control inventory, ordering, stock levels, and minimize wastage.
  • Monitor sales performance, labor costs, and operating expenses to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain high operational standards.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Drive sales through promotions, upselling, and excellent guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and restaurant operations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
  • Must be committed to a long-term career with the company.
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing high-volume restaurants.
  • Strong financial awareness, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
