MARINE OPERATIONS – SENIOR EXECUTIVE (LUBE OIL / BARGES)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly proactive and detail-oriented Marine Operations Senior Executive to oversee and execute our lube oil barge delivery operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring vessel movements and operational activities to ensure deliveries are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with schedules provided by our Charterers. The ideal candidate should possess strong marine logistics and operational experience, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to respond effectively to operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor barge movements and voyage progress to ensure compliance with planned schedules and ETAs.
• Manage and monitor inventory levels onboard barges to maintain stock accuracy and prevent product shortages or cross-contamination.
• Coordinate closely with Charterers and ensure operational activities are aligned with delivery schedules and requirements.
• Verify and record operational milestones, including All Fast times, hose connection and disconnection times, commencement and completion of cargo operations.
• Monitor pumping rates and discharge performance to ensure efficient cargo transfer operations.
• Act as the key point of contact between vessel crews, Charterers, agents, surveyors, and other stakeholders.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and potential demurrage exposure.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records of voyage and cargo activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Provide after-office-hours operational support when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marine operations, vessel scheduling, bunkering operations, or related maritime activities.
• Experience in lube oil cargo operations will be a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with AIS tracking platforms such as MarineTraffic and VesselFinder.
• Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to be on-call and respond to operational requirements outside normal office hours when necessary.
• Candidates with tanker, bunker tanker, lubricant tanker, or barge operations experience are encouraged to apply.

Salary

SGD 5,000 – SGD 7,000 per month
