Job Summary

Join H.I.S. International Travel Singapore as an Outbound Senior Travel Consultant to design and deliver personalized Japan travel experiences. Use your expertise to research, plan, and book itineraries while providing exceptional client service and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on Japan travel options including destinations, flights, accommodations, tours, attractions, and transportation to inform client recommendations
• Monitor and update knowledge of Japan travel trends, promotions, and new products to maintain competitive offerings
• Advise clients by providing tailored travel recommendations based on their interests, preferences, and budgets
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and suggest suitable travel options to enhance client satisfaction
• Prepare customized Japan itineraries that align with client requirements and preferences
• Assist clients with booking tours, flights, accommodations, transportation, activities, attractions, and dining reservations
• Manage daily travel operations independently to ensure efficient service delivery
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to facilitate smooth travel arrangements and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate client records and travel documentation for compliance and service continuity
• Deliver professional, attentive customer service and follow up to address travel-related questions or concerns
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support business needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience planning Japan itineraries or personal travel experience in Japan
• Travel industry experience, particularly in outbound travel or Japan FIT packages
• Basic knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS)
• Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proficiency in English and Chinese Mandarin to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative teamwork skills
• Passion for Japan and good knowledge of Japan travel destinations
