Job Description - Pre Sales Engineer (Cloud/Technical Solution/IT/Central)

Responsibility:

  • Sales Work - Assist the Account Manager in achieving sales targets, including but not limited to identifying and discovering client’s needs, engaging in product and solution discussions with clients, providing project price quotation, and preparing technical work related to bidding for large projects.
  • Cloud Reselling - Responsible for technical support in AWS and Google Cloud (GCP) projects, including end-to-end support for cloud consulting, planning, migration, and validation.
  • MSP Operations and Maintenance Services - Provide pre-sales technical support for client outsourcing projects. Manage client projects' operations and maintenance work, including centralized monitoring, product operations management, cloud event management, capacity and budget management.
  • Malfunction handling: Coordinate with product development team and third-party vendors to promptly identify root causes, provide solutions rapidly, and ensure timely troubleshooting to meet SLAs.
  • Promote our Cloud Cost Management Product - SavingsNow which offers comprehensive cloud cost management and optimization services, supporting various functionalities such as cost categorization, cost allocation, and resource utilization, helping clients reduce Cloud expenditure, improve resource utilization, and optimize decision-making.
  • Create cloud business case studies, develop technical solutions, and perform competitive analysis, etc.

Qualification:

  • Technical Background: Possess a solid technical background, familiar with multi-cloud environments and cloud computing technologies, including products and solutions from major cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP).
  • Pre-sales Experience: Have relevant pre-sales work experience, able to understand clients’ requirements and provide corresponding solutions. Familiar with pre-sales processes and techniques, capable of effective communication and collaboration with clients.
  • Multi-cloud Architecture Design Experience: Understand the design principles and best practices of multi-cloud architecture, able to assist clients in formulating and implementing multi-cloud solutions that meet their business needs, such as AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Business Understanding: Possess an understanding of different industries and business domains, able to engage in in-depth communication with clients and comprehend their business requirements, provide customized multi-cloud solutions.
  • Technical Demonstrations and Training: Capable of conducting technical demonstrations, showcase the value and features of multi-cloud solutions to clients, address their technical inquiries, and provide training support.
  • Team Collaboration: Possess strong team collaboration skills, able to closely collaborate with sales teams, technical teams, and other relevant teams, provide comprehensive support and services to clients.
  • Language Proficiency: Possess good communication skills in English, able to engage in fluent business communication and technical terms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Possess relevant certifications from cloud service providers, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL, Kubernetes, and FinOps.
  • Industry Expertise: Have knowledge and expertise in specific industries, capable of providing customized multi-cloud solutions tailored to the needs of different industries.
  • Project Management Experience: Have experience in project management, able to effectively organize and manage multi-cloud projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Salary: Open to discussion + Sales Commmission
  • Location : Collyer Quay Centre
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am – 6 pm
