Pricing Executive, Air Freight (Freight Forwarding)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to co-ordinate with internal and external customers to arrange collection.
• Liase with carriers and co-loader to get most competitive rates and book shipments.
• Plan with vendor to arrange collection
• Provide instruction to Air Freight operation team with complete information for execution as well as cost information
• In case of offload or flight delay to liase with carrier and co-loader to investigate root cause.
• To verify vendor invoices for shipments arranged.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to customers and account managers, when required
• Support the team to ensure fast and accurate responses for pricing / quotations for both internal departments and overseas stations as well as clients.
• Respond timely to client pricing requests
• Coordinate tenders and RFQ’s for all Air- freight products when assigned.
• Obtain pricing from carriers, co-loaders and internal network (product teams, overseas stations) in order to provide a solution and pricing to clients as per request
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and co-loaders
• Act as a resource for all Air- freight enquiries for company
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 to 2 years working experience in Air-freight Pricing / Air Procurement / Customer Service in freight forwarding or airline industry
• Dangerous Goods certified or with DG knowledge will be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint )
• Experience in negotiating and managing relationships with carriers and co-loaders
• Ability to engage with various internal and external stakeholders
