Job Summary

The Restaurant Manager leads overall restaurant operations, driving sales, controlling costs, managing staff recruitment and training, overseeing inventory and financial controls, executing marketing initiatives, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control food costs, labor costs, and all other store expenses to meet financial targets
  • Recruit, retain, and motivate staff to maintain a high-performing team aligned with business goals
  • Oversee and implement staff training programs to enhance competence and quality of service
  • Coach and guide managers and shift leaders to improve leadership effectiveness and operational performance
  • Monitor and achieve productivity targets to optimize store efficiency
  • Manage inventory and money control systems to ensure accuracy and prevent loss
  • Execute local marketing activities to drive store sales and customer engagement
  • Maintain all business records and complete required Subway paperwork accurately and timely
  • Ensure workplace health and safety procedures are followed, complying with government safety codes and regulations
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business operations
