We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Executive to support the daily operations of our retail outlet. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, managing inventory, maintaining store presentation standards, and contributing to the overall success of the business.
Provide professional and friendly assistance to customers.
Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable products and services.
Promote products, special offers, and loyalty programmes to drive sales.
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Replenish merchandise and ensure products are properly displayed.
Conduct stock counts and assist in inventory audits.
Support the implementation of merchandising and promotional activities.
Process sales transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions in accordance with company procedures.
Prepare daily sales reports and maintain accurate transaction records.
Assist with administrative and operational documentation when required.
Receive, inspect, and arrange incoming stock deliveries.
Monitor inventory movement and report discrepancies.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product availability.
Maintain proper storage and stock handling procedures.
Work closely with team members to achieve sales and operational targets.
Participate in staff meetings, product training, and company initiatives.
Assist in training new employees when required.
Support management in executing business and operational strategies.
Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and POS systems.
Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Experience in retail operations and inventory management.
Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet performance targets.
Knowledge of merchandising and visual display techniques.
Experience in handling customer service issues and conflict resolution.
