Sales Engineer

Job Description:

• Handle sales enquiries and order processing.
• Continue to strengthen the relationship with existing accounts.
• Direct customers visit/ contact and liaise/follow up with customers.
• Visit new customer and look for a new business opportunity.
• To do site troubleshooting work when required.
• Responsible for growing existing and new overseas markets.
• Work closely with regional parties involved in promoting company services.
• Cultivate and enhance long term relationship with new and existing customers.
• Provide customers with technical advice and solutions for related applications.
• Respond efficiently to customers’ technical or commercial queries and consistently meets customers’ expectation.
• Maintain a well-organized record of customer database.
• Coordinate with all team-mate in Sales and Marketing Department to achieve the targeted Sales KPI.
• Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or higher management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Advanced/ Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Marine), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• 2 years of sales experience in Marine shipyard or relevant will be an advantage.
• Customer service oriented and have a great sense of urgency.
• Sales and customer driven with strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills
• Self-driven, results oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Systematic and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong desire to excel in sales.
• Willing to travel.
• Preferable possess own vehicle with Class 3 driving license, but not mandatory.
• Good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Salary will be commensurate based on qualification and experience.
