Sales Executive

Job Summary

·        We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to support our automotive and marine engine spare parts business, including piston rings, cylinder liners, trading, and indent operations. The incumbent will be responsible for managing existing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and supporting sales growth across Singapore and regional markets, including Southeast Asia, the UAE, Sri Lanka, India and Australia.

·        The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements, prepare quotations, negotiate effectively, and provide responsive sales support. Candidates who are self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic regional business environment will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

·        Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers and suppliers.

·        Achieve assigned sales targets and develop new business opportunities within designated territories and markets.

·        Manage sales activities for automotive and marine engine spare parts business, including piston rings, cylinder liners, trading, and indent operations.

·        Develop and manage business opportunities across Singapore and regional markets, including the UAE, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Australia.

·        Plan and execute sales and marketing activities in line with the Company’s business strategies.

·        Present specialised automotive and marine engine spare parts effectively to customers, including handling enquiries, addressing objections, negotiating terms, and closing sales.

·        Prepare accurate quotations, pricing, and discount calculations to support customer decision-making and improve sales conversion.

·        Build strong customer relationships through effective networking, active listening, empathy, and professional communication across verbal, written, and digital platforms.

·        Utilise digital and AI tools(e.g. ChatGPT, DeepSeek) as well as Microsoft Excel applications such as PowerQuery and Power Pivot to support sales analysis and customer engagement activities.

·        Demonstrate initiative, resilience, self-discipline, and strong interpersonal skills in achieving sales objectives.

·        Travel within Singapore and overseas as required for business development and customer support.

Qualifications & Requirements

·        Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence to support business travel requirements.

·        Minimum secondary education or equivalent qualification (e.g. GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ Levels, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or ITE certification).

·        1 to 3 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or customer service within the automotive, engineering, trading, or related industries.

·        Possess good communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

·        Familiarity with digital and AItools (e.g. ChatGPT, DeepSeek) will be an added advantage.

·        Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Other Information

·        Work Location: Pioneer Crescent

·        Working Days: 5-day work week

·        Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 5:45pm

·        Salary: From S$3,200 per month, negotiable based on qualifications, relevant experience, and skill sets

·        Performance incentive based on sales achievement
