SALES MANAGER

Job Description

We are a retail and distribution company specializing in hardware products. We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive business growth, manage key customer relationships, and support sales operations. Candidates with strong IT knowledge are preferred as the role involves using digital tools and systems to improve sales performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.

·       Manage and grow relationships with new and existing customers (retail, contractors, corporate clients).

·       Handle customer enquiries, quotations, pricing negotiations, and order follow-up.

·       Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

·       Identify new business opportunities in the hardware retail and distribution market.

·       Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

·       Use CRM and sales systems to manage customer accounts and sales pipeline.

·       Analyse sales data to support decision-making and improve sales effectiveness.

·       Support digitalization of sales processes (e.g. CRM, reporting tools, inventory systems).

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

·       Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or management (preferably in retail, hardware, construction, or trading industry).

·       Strong communication, negotiation, and customer management skills.

·       Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and business reporting tools.

·       Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data.

·       Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

·       Experience in hardware, building materials, or retail industry is an advantage.

·       Location at Tuas & Jurong area. Relocation is required.

·       Willing to be on standby as required on a 24-hour

·       Willing to work on weekends and public holidays

·       Physically fit for operational duties

·       Good teamwork and communication skills
