SHOP SALES MANAGER

Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

Lead and manage a team of shop staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve performance targets.

Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales, increase customer footfall, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and expenses to optimize store profitability.

Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, ensuring products are displayed attractively and in line with company guidelines.

Foster a customer-centric culture within the store, ensuring exceptional customer service is provided at all times.

Handle and resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Implement loss prevention measures and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Monitor and maintain stock levels, coordinating with suppliers and the central warehouse for timely replenishment.

Prepare and analyze sales reports, financial statements, and operational data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Sound knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.

Familiarity with retail software systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Able to multitask, and manage time effectively

Able to work long hours and on weekends & public holidays
