Core Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Assess client needs, review medical history, and check for contraindications (e.g., allergies, pregnancy) before beginning any service. [1, 2, 3]
• Administering Treatments: Perform professional massages (e.g., deep tissue, aromatherapy), facials, body scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy. [1, 2]
• Guest Experience: Guide guests through the spa menu, explain treatment steps, and ensure their physical comfort and safety throughout the session. [1, 2]
• Hygiene & Sanitation: Maintain strict cleanliness of the workspace, sterilize equipment, change linens between clients, and sanitize spa facilities. [1, 2, 3]
• Sales & Up-selling: Recommend appropriate spa and retail products to clients and inform them of current promotions. [1, 2]
• Administrative Tasks: Manage daily appointment schedules, update client records, track inventory, and report guest complaints or injuries to management. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Requirements & Skills

• Licensing & Certification: A recognized diploma or certification in Spa Therapy, Cosmetology, or Massage Therapy (e.g., ITEC, CIDESCO, or WSQ certifications frequently required in Singapore). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
• Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform repetitive motions involving varying levels of physical exertion. [1, 2]
