Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise the daily operations of the vegetable store and warehouse.
Receive and inspect fresh vegetables and other produce from local and overseas suppliers.
Verify deliveries against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), and invoices.
Ensure proper storage of fresh produce in chilled and ambient areas according to food safety requirements.
Monitor product quality, freshness, expiry dates, and shelf life.
Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory practices.
Coordinate stock issuance for customer orders and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with the Purchasing Department.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Supervise store assistants, packers, and warehouse staff.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) guidelines.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and company procedures.
Prepare inventory reports, stock movement reports, and management reports.
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, sales, and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
