AI Engineer

Role Description This role is based in Singapore. The AI Engineer will identify, design, and drive AI use cases across investment, operations, and governance workflows to improve efficiency, insight, and decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing current processes, conducting research on AI tools and frameworks, and building roadmaps for AI adoption that align with the family office’s objectives and risk appetite. The role will involve collaborating with investment professionals to prototype and implement AI solutions, as well as developing internal guidelines, documentation, and training to ensure responsible and secure use of AI. The AI Engineer will also monitor performance of deployed solutions, refine models and workflows, and stay current with AI trends, regulations, and best practices relevant to wealth and asset management.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in AI, machine learning, and data analytics, with hands-on experience evaluating or implementing AI-driven tools and solutions.
• Experience in process mapping, workflow redesign, and digital transformation, preferably within financial services, investment management, or a family office environment.
• Proficiency in working with data (e.g., SQL, Python, or relevant analytics platforms) and familiarity with cloud-based AI services or LLM-based tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a structured approach to experimentation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of risk management, data privacy, cybersecurity, and ethical AI principles in a regulated and confidential environment.
• Fresh Graduates with Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications in AI, data analytics, or digital transformation are an advantage.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented working style with the ability to operate in a lean, entrepreneurial, and discreet family office setting.
