Assistant Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical engineering works at project sites to support successful project delivery
• Execute mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair activities under the guidance of the Project Engineer
• Prepare accurate technical drawings, detailed reports, work schedules, and comprehensive project documentation
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution
• Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Prepare material requisitions and track material deliveries to maintain project timelines
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site and recommend practical engineering solutions to resolve problems
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports to communicate project status to stakeholders
• Perform additional engineering duties as assigned by management to support project and organizational goals
