Role and Responsibilities
1. Engineering & Design
· Understand customer requirements provided through project kick-off documents such as customer standards, project specifications, basis of designs, sequence of operations, equipment interfacing points lists, schematic drawings and layout plans.
· Work together with equipment suppliers and subcontractors to formulate ACMV control systems solution proposal to meet customer requirements.
· Identify key engineering design and further develop solution proposal into the necessary, material, schematics drawing, layout plans, typical details, control panel designs, system sequence of operation, points list and methods statement technical documents for submission and approval.
· Understand and define testing & commissioning strategies, work with other parties for troubleshooting and solution identification during site implementation.
2. Planning & Coordination
· Consider manpower and resource planning to develop timelines, detail work schedule and implementation plans for ACMV control scope of engineering construction projects.
· Effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams, equipment vendors and sub-contractors to meet project requirements.
· Maintain clear documentation throughout progressive project phases.
3. Compliance & Safety
· Understand, apply and comply to local standards or codes of practice as well as relevant industry standards.
· Understand, execute and ensure site compliance to company directed and project required safety management systems.
4. Stakeholder Communication
· Effectively liaise with and manage external stakeholders such as customers, consultants and main contractors to understand and meet project requirements and fulfil project deliverables.
· Provide project planning and progress updates through the update of project implemented trackers.
· Prepare training and handover materials, operation maintenance manuals.
5. Others
· All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Relevant Qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
· For experience candidates, preferably to possess minimum 3 years relevant experience in the Industrial Engineering industry.
· Open to candidates with no previous working experience for junior position
· Outgoing with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to interact effectively with Clients, Consultants, project members and managers at all levels
