Job Purpose

We are seeking a creative, meticulous, and highly efficient Packaging & Graphic Designer. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing aesthetically stunning visual communication and structural design concepts. This role requires a strong blend of artistry and technical execution, ensuring that final creative outputs perfectly align with our clients' objectives and are seamlessly optimized for the physical printing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visual Communications: Design compelling corporate branding, promotional visuals, and marketing collaterals across various print mediums.

• Creative Conceptualization: Ideate, draft, and develop bespoke product and packaging designs that are aesthetically remarkable, structurally sound, and tailored to meet client objectives.

• Technical Preparation: Prepare digital layouts and print-ready files, ensuring precision in dimensions and alignment for specialized manufacturing.

• Ad Hoc Support: Handle any other design-related or ad hoc duties assigned by management to support team success.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of a design-based Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a printing, corporate gifting, or packaging environment.

• Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the paper printing industry, structural packaging design, and post-press finishing processes (including die-cutting, embossing, hot-stamping, and spot UV).

• Technical Mastery: Well-versed in standard industry tools, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

• Product Specialization: Must specialize in the design and manufacturing knowledge of at least one of the following product categories (please explicitly state your area of expertise in your resume):

  • Packaging (Paper, PU, PVC, Fabric, etc.)

  • Food Packaging (sustainable/eco-friendly options)

  • Mooncake Boxes & Accessories

  • Pouches, Carriers, and Paper Shopping Bags

  • Calendars, Corporate Notebooks, and Planners

  • Gift Boxes, Wrappers, and Handover Kits

  • Festive Products (e.g., Red Packets / Ang Baos)

  • Other bespoke paper products

• Work Style: A creative thinker with an exceptional eye for design and typography. Must possess great design speed, high productivity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Able to work independently while remaining a highly collaborative team player.

• Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and Mandarin (in order to closely communicate and liaise with Mandarin-speaking production associates and manufacturing partners in China).
