Design & Coordination Engineer, DCE

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Design & Coordination Engineer, DCE:

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and review design drawings with consultants to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and relevant authority standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve technical and design-related issues throughout the design and construction phases.
• Plan, monitor, and report the progress of shop drawing production to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare and coordinate technical submissions, including material submissions, construction method statements, and Civil & Structural (C&S) shop drawings.
• Liaise closely with Architectural, M&E, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve design coordination and site-related matters.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to BIM Modelers in the preparation of coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans.
• Support tender preparation by reviewing technical requirements, design documentation, and engineering proposals for new projects.
• Ensure engineering documentation is accurate, up to date, and aligned with project and company standards.
• Perform other engineering duties and responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in design coordination, preferably with a main contractor.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) with the Professional Engineers Board will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of Civil & Structural engineering principles, design standards, and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and shop drawing production processes will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 7,000 +VB (1 - 2 Months)
• Working Location: Redhill
• Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 8am - 5pm
