Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a creative and motivated multidisciplinary Junior 3D Designer with 2 to 3 years of industry experience to support the creative development of immersive environmental design, exhibition, events and roadshows within our dynamic design team. This role is instrumental in contributing fresh ideas and quality execution across experiential projects.

The ideal candidate will bring solid conceptual thinking and visualization skills to deliver impactful design solutions. Working closely with senior designers, project managers, and clients to create compelling experiences that align with brand objectives and audience engagement.

Key responsibilities of the junior designer role include:

1. Design Support: Assist in the design and creative development for Gallery, Exhibition, Events and Roadshows projects from concept to execution. Support pitches and proposals for corporate exhibition stands and other experiential projects.
2. Creative Development: Interpret and digest design briefs, conduct research, and contribute innovative concepts and visual narratives.
3. Visual Presentation: Generate high quality visual presentations for design submissions, working closely with the team assigned to the same project.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales and production teams, to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions, design feasibility and alignment.
5. Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into design strategies.
6. Time Management: Ensure compliance with project deadlines, manage design deliverables on time, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.

Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Exhibition Design, Product Design, Visual Communications or related field
• Proven minimum 2 to 3 years' experience as a 3D Exhibitions and Events Designer, showcasing a strong portfolio of previous projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modelling software (such as SketchUp and Autodesk 3ds Max) and graphic works software (such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of design elements and principles, aesthetic, visual storytelling and detail-oriented mindset in design and execution
• High attention to detail and passion for design innovation
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Display positive working attitudes as a team player and passionate to stay updated with industry trends
