Engineer (Mechanical Design)

Responsibilities:

• Product design of communication products
• Coordinate pilot production runs to validate design and manufacturing feasibility
• Coordinate new product transfer to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams) to achieve project objectives
• Sourcing of new materials, components and parts in line with design specifications

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry
• Proficient in 3D modelling and CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience in product design and development
• Experience in mechanical-related issues in ODM/OEM products
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining and metal casting
• Good understanding of GD&T for 2D dimensioning
• Good knowledge of product design and metrology
