Interior Designer (Junior & Senior Roles Available)

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Interior Designer to join our growing interior design team. This role combines strong communication ability with design understanding, allowing you to guide homeowners and commercial clients from initial consultation to project confirmation.

You will be responsible for presenting creative design concepts, understanding client lifestyle needs, preparing quotations, and converting client leads into successful projects while working closely with our in-house Project Management team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Meet and consult with homeowners and commercial clients to understand renovation requirements, lifestyle needs, space planning, and budget.
2. Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and design proposals that align with client expectations.
3. Recommend suitable materials, finishes, furnishings, and design solutions.
4. Prepare project quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
5. Follow up closely with clients and convert qualified leads into confirmed projects.
6. Build strong client relationships and provide excellent customer experience throughout the sales journey.
7. Coordinate with Project Managers during handover and project execution.
8. Conduct site visits, showroom consultations, and material selections with clients.
9. Manage variation orders and ensure proper communication between clients and internal teams.
10. Keep up with interior design trends, materials, and renovation practices.
11. And any other ad-hoc tasks which may be required to fulfil the role.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3–5 years of sales or sales designer experience, preferably in interior design, renovation, architecture, furniture, or related industries.
2. Strong passion for interior design and space transformation.
3. Good understanding of residential renovation processes, space planning, materials, and design concepts.
4. Ability to interpret client needs and translate them into compelling design proposals.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
6. Confident in handling clients independently from consultation to project confirmation.
7. Sales-driven, self-motivated, and target-oriented.
8. Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
9. Experience in Singapore residential or commercial renovation projects is preferred.
