Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

Design, detail, and draft mechanical systems focusing on expansion joints and firestop solutions. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure compliance with specifications and codes, providing design support from tender through installation.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems with emphasis on expansion joints and firestop solutions to meet project requirements
• Prepare detailed technical drawings that comply with project specifications and relevant codes
• Coordinate design activities with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure alignment and integration
• Provide ongoing design support throughout the project lifecycle, from tender stage to installation
• Ensure all mechanical system designs adhere to applicable standards and regulations

REQUIREMENTS

• Creative and Independent on job
• Strong in English Communication in both verbal and written
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to visualize and sketch design concepts
• At least 2 years of working experience in construction preferred
• Knowledge in building codes/structural design is an advantage
