Optical Engineer – Industrial Vision & Inspection Systems

We’re looking for an Optical Engineer to design next-generation optical systems that deliver best-in-class image quality with cost-effective, production-ready designs.

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Design and optimize optical systems for industrial imaging and automated inspection

• Develop multi-spectrum solutions (VIS, IR, UV, laser, structured light) for high-contrast, high-precision defect detection

• Support 3D vision systems (structured light, stereo, depth sensing)

• Balance image quality, system performance, and BOM cost for scalable factory deployment

• Collaborate with AI, vision software, and hardware teams on full system integration

• Validate performance using MTF, SNR, distortion, and real-world factory testing

🧠 What We’re Looking For

•  Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• Strong experience in optical system design & simulation 

• Hands-on experience with multi-spectrum imaging systems

• Solid understanding of lenses, sensors, illumination, and imaging pipelines

⭐ Bonus Points

• Experience with 3D vision technologies

• Experience in Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) for semiconductor or precision manufacturing
