Packaging Designer

Job Summary
A Packaging Designer is responsible for designing attractive, functional, and market-ready product packaging that aligns with the company's brand identity and regulatory requirements. The role involves developing packaging concepts,artwork, labelling, and structural designs for food and consumer products while ensuring packaging quality, sustainability, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging concepts for foodproducts and consumer goods.
• Create packaging artwork, labels, product sleeves,cartons, pouches, and promotional packaging materials.
• Ensure packaging designs are consistent with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, andproduction teams to create effective packaging solutions.
• Prepare print-ready artwork and coordinate withprinting vendors and packaging suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with food labelling regulations, ingredient declarations, nutritional information, and barcode requirements.
• Review packaging proofs and conduct quality checks before production.
• Research packaging trends, consumer preferences, and sustainable packaging solutions.
• Manage packaging revisions and updates for existing product lines.
• Support new product launches through innovative andvisually appealing packaging designs.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design,Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Experience in packaging design, preferably within FMCG, food, or consumer products industries.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes,and production requirements.
• Understanding of food packaging regulations and labelling standards.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meetdeadlines.
