Product Development Manager

One Siscorp is a wholesale trading company. We're setting up a new product development division focused on culturally authentic lifestyle products — home décor, ceramics, textiles, and artisanal goods — sourced from craftspeople across Asia for retail and e-commerce. We're hiring a Product Development Manager to establish and lead this division and shape how we find, develop, and bring those products to market.

This is a build-it-from-the-ground-up role. It suits someone who knows both craft sourcing and design, and who's ready to set up the division's suppliers, processes, and product range. You'll spend as much time building relationships with artisan workshops and suppliers as you do shaping the products.

What you'll do

• Set up and lead our new product development division, including its sourcing strategy, processes, and supplier base.
• Develop and manage our artisan and supplier network across India and the wider Asia region — sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding artisan workshops, craft clusters, NGO sourcing partners, and regional manufacturers.
• Build long-term supplier relationships and manage product development timelines, sampling, quality reviews, packaging, and production.
• Maintain ethical sourcing, craftsmanship, and quality across the supply chain.
• Define seasonal product assortments, concepts, pricing direction, and packaging in line with our brand and commercial goals.
• Turn market and customer research into product and assortment decisions.
• Work with marketing and e-commerce on product storytelling, launches, visual merchandising, and the online customer journey.
• Partner with operations, logistics, and leadership on go-to-market planning.

What we're looking for

• Experience in product development, sourcing, merchandising, brand or UX strategy, retail, or e-commerce.
• A network of, or proven ability to build, artisan and supplier relationships, ideally across India and Asia.
• Strong research and trend analysis skills, and good commercial judgement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• A feel for customer experience, visual storytelling, and Asian craftsmanship and design.

Nice to have

• Service design or UX research background.
• Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
• Packaging or brand development experience.
• Hands-on regional sourcing experience across Asia.
