Product Director

We are looking for a talent with a strong combination of science and technology expertise. In this role, you will serve as a key bridge between the company and the scientific research community. You should be able to deeply understand customers’ pain points and opportunities across the R&D process, and translate those insights into commercially valuable and practical product solutions.

Responsibilities

Industry Insights and Customer Requirement Translation

• Deeply engage with enterprise R&D scenarios and identify core business pain points and potential needs across customers’ R&D workflows.
• Translate customers’ business requirements into clear product feature definitions that can be easily understood by technical and product teams.

Product Solution Design

• Design innovative product solutions that effectively address customers’ R&D pain points by leveraging the company’s AI algorithm capabilities, data resources, and technology platform.
• Collaborate with internal R&D, algorithm, and data teams to define product prototypes and feature iteration roadmaps, ensuring that solutions are both technically feasible and commercially competitive.

Business Collaboration

• Support business development and sales teams as a product expert, participating in deep collaboration with key customers and helping drive partnership implementation from a product and solution perspective.

Trend Research and Knowledge Building

• Continuously track frontier technology developments and industry application trends of AI in scientific domains.

Requirements

Education Background:

• Master’s degree or above. Academic background in science, engineering, or other related technical disciplines.

Industry Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise scientific research or R&D-related roles.
• Hands-on involvement in new product development processes.
• Deep understanding of R&D workflows and familiarity with enterprise R&D decision-making processes.

Technical and Data Acumen

• Strong understanding and unique insights into the application of AI technologies in enterprise R&D.
• Strong data sense, with the ability to understand the value of data in product and business contexts.

• Excellent logical thinking and abstraction skills.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to identify commercial opportunities behind market needs.
