Responsibilities
Design & User Experience
Conceptualise and design engaging digital experiences across websites, web applications, mobile interfaces, kiosks, and other digital touchpoints.
Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviours, and business objectives.
Translate research findings and analytics into actionable design recommendations and improved user journeys.
Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.
Design intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling interfaces that align with branding guidelines and modern UX best practices.
Develop and maintain scalable design systems, UI component libraries, and design documentation.
Data-Driven & AI-Enhanced Design
Leverage analytics, user behaviour data, heatmaps, A/B testing insights, and performance metrics to improve user experience and conversion outcomes.
Incorporate AI-powered design, content, and research tools to enhance efficiency, ideation, prototyping, content generation, and design validation.
Evaluate and recommend emerging AI technologies and design workflows that can improve project delivery and user experiences.
Apply AI responsibly while maintaining strong human-centred design principles.
Collaboration & Delivery
Collaborate closely with project managers, strategists, developers, marketers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Present and justify design decisions clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.
Ensure designs are technically feasible, aligned with business goals, and optimised for implementation.
Provide constructive design critique and contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and processes across the team.
Website & Digital Platform Development
Build and manage websites using modern CMS and no-code/low-code platforms such as WordPress, Elementor, Webflow, Vev, Framer, and similar tools.
Apply responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Incorporate SEO and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) best practices into design and content layouts.
Support QA and testing efforts in ensuring the quality and integrity of the design.
Support website maintenance, content publishing, and continuous optimisation initiatives.
Continuous Learning
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, AI advancements, accessibility standards, and evolving UX/UI best practices.
Share knowledge, tools, and best practices with team members to foster innovation and growth.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Design, UX/UI, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in UI/UX, digital product design, web design, or a similar role.
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design thinking, problem-solving abilities, and high-quality visual design execution.
Proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows.
Strong understanding of:
User-centred design principles
Information architecture
User journey mapping
Interaction design
Accessibility (WCAG)
Responsive design
Usability testing
Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, particularly on-page SEO and content structuring.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment.
AI & Modern Design Skills
Familiarity with AI-powered design and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Figma AI, or equivalent tools.
Ability to integrate AI into research, ideation, content creation, prototyping, and workflow optimisation.
Understanding of the opportunities and limitations of AI in product and experience design.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with WordPress, Elementor, Webflow, Framer, Vev, Shopify, or similar CMS/no-code platforms.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development principles.
Experience using analytics and optimisation tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with social media content creation and digital marketing campaigns.
Skills in Adobe Creative Suite, photography, videography, video editing, motion graphics, or content creation.
Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo, or similar tools.
Experience working in an agency environment is highly desirable.
