Job Description - Assistant Professor of Marketing (Tenure Track)


The Marketing Area at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU), invites applications for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at non-rookie levels (Assistant Professor) in all areas of marketing. LKCSB has a particular focus on high-impact research. Therefore, research with significant (potential)impact on industry or society is particularly welcome. Candidates should already have a PhD and have a research and teaching record commensurate with the rank for which they are applying.

About the Marketing Area: Joina vibrant and expanding Marketing Area recognized for its strong research culture, collegial environment, and deep industry connections. Our faculty regularly publish in leading journals such as the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science, and Management Science, as well as top outlets in related disciplines (e.g., the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology and Psychological Science). Many of our faculty serve as co-Editors, Associate Editors, and on the editorial boards of these journals, actively shaping the field. The Marketing Area supports a thriving PhD program and fosters a collaborative atmosphere, with a state-of-the-art behavioral research lab, access to diverse field and secondary data through extensive industry partnerships, and a culture that values both rigorous scholarship and practical impact.
