The Opportunity

Are you passionate about bringing the Mandarin language and its rich culture to life for young children? We are looking for more than just a language teacher; we are seeking a Language & Storytelling Guide who can create an immersive, joyful, and meaningful Mandarin environment for our preschoolers.

As a key member of our teaching team, you will be a "Nurturing Innovator," responsible for designing and delivering a vibrant Chinese language program that aligns with our unique play-inspired approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a dynamic, age-appropriate, and "play-inspired" Mandarin curriculum for our preschool children (18 months to 6 years old).
• Foster a love for the Chinese language through actively-engaging activities such as storytelling, music, drama, and hands-on projects.
• Create a joyful and supportive classroom environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves in Mandarin.
• Collaborate with our English-speaking teachers in a socially-interactive team to create a holistic, bilingual learning experience.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with our parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress through our Qoqolo app and parent-teacher meetings.
• Assess and document each child's development, contributing to their individual learning journey.

Who We're Looking For

• Qualified: You must possess a valid ECDA L2 certification in Early Childhood Care & Education (or equivalent).
• Passionate: You are genuinely excited about education and have a deep love for the Mandarin language and culture.
• Nurturing: You are empathetic, sincere, and create a safe, supportive environment for every child.
• Fun & Personable: You believe that joy and play are essential parts of learning and are approachable and friendly in your interactions.
• Collaborative: You are a strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and respects diverse perspectives.
