Chinese Teacher

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and responsible Secondary Chinese Teacher to provide quality Chinese language instruction to secondary school students and support their academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Chinese lessons for Secondary 1–Secondary 5 students (Express / Normal Academic / Normal Technical where applicable)
• Plan and prepare lesson materials according to the school syllabus and students' learning needs
• Teach Chinese language skills including comprehension, composition, oral communication, and listening comprehension
• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide feedback to parents when necessary
• Prepare students for school examinations and national examinations where applicable
• Identify students' strengths and weaknesses and tailor teaching approaches accordingly
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance and performance

Requirements:

• NIE Qualified
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in Secondary Chinese preferred
• Familiar with Singapore MOE Chinese syllabus will be an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about teaching and helping students achieve academic success
