The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the College complies with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and quality assurance standards. This role supports EduTrust certification, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of academic and operational processes to safeguard student interests and institutional integrity.
1. Regulatory Compliance & EduTrust Management
Ensure compliance with EduTrust requirements, SSG regulations, and relevant statutory authorities (e.g., ICA, PDPC, MOM).
Maintain and update Policies, and Policy and Operation Manual (POMs).
Monitor compliance with Fee Protection Scheme (FPS), Student Contracts, attendance requirements, and student records.
Ensure all regulatory submissions, reporting, and documentation are accurate and timely.
2. Audit Coordination & Document Control
Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits, including EduTrust audits.
Maintain proper document control and version management of policies and records.
Address audit findings, observations, and corrective actions promptly.
Conduct verification checks on records to ensure compliance with agent qualification and vendor management.
3. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor implementation of internal policies and operational procedures.
Conduct internal compliance checks and quality assurance reviews.
Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with institutional goals.
4. Staff Training & Compliance Awareness
Support staff training on EduTrust requirements, compliance policies, and operational procedures.
Ensure staff awareness of regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
6. Administrative & Reporting Duties
Maintain compliance trackers, audit logs, and regulatory documentation.
Prepare compliance reports for Management review.
Support management in risk management and compliance planning.
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Quality Management or other relevant disciplines with relevant background in quality assurance or ISO 9000.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory roles.
Experience in Private Education Institution (PEI) and EduTrust environment.
Knowledge
Familiarity with EduTrust framework, SSG regulations, and PEI requirements.
Understanding of document control and audit processes.
Strong command of English (written and spoken) is a must
