Our Client, a leading dance education institution in Singapore, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Dance Instructor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare interesting resources for the classroom

• Identify student’s needs and work to help each child develop his or her own potential

• Participate in the Academy events such as: Concerts and public performances

• Conduct parent-teacher interviews / open house twice yearly

• Attend professional development sessions to improve your teaching methods and maintain curriculum currency

• Present a professional image in dressing and personality at all times
  

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates may specialise in one or more of the following disciplines:

Classical Ballet

• Minimum RAD/CSTD Advanced One Certificate of Achievement or Dance Diploma/Degree.

• Teaching experience preferred.

• RAD or CSTD Teaching Certificate will be an added advantage.
  

Jazz / Tap / Contemporary

• Minimum Dance Diploma.

• Teaching experience preferred.

• Classical Ballet background will be advantageous.

• ATOD/CSTD/ISTD Teaching Certificate will be an added advantage.
  

Hip-Hop / K-Pop

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.

• Dance Diploma or Degree will be an added advantage.

• Possess relevant dance achievements or certifications from recognised dance schools.

• Must be up-to-date with current dance trends.
  

For All Disciplines:

• Comfortable travelling between studios when required.
  

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Location: Island-wide (16 Studios Across Singapore)

• Working Days/Hours: No fixed daily schedule (Flexible schedule based on assigned classes)

• Salary: $2,500 Higher (based on 20 teaching hours/week). Higher remuneration may be considered based on:

  • Number of dance disciplines taught

  • Teaching proficiency and experience

  • Availability and commitment level

• Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications
