SWZ Education is looking for a multi-disciplinary Economics Tutor to join our boutique teaching team. We are looking for an Mentor who doesn’t just teach theory, but helps students master the quantitative application—graphs, data analysis, and model building—that defines high-scoring IB and A-Level Economics papers. If you have a strong background in Mathematics or Science and an ability to make complex economic models accessible, we want to hear from you.
Curriculum Mastery: Deliver instruction for IB Economics (SL/HL) and A-Level Economics, ensuring full alignment with current syllabi.
Quantitative Integration: Support students in interpreting data sets, mastering elasticity calculations, and analyzing complex economic diagrams with mathematical precision.
Exam Strategy: Equip students with the analytical writing techniques required for essay-based papers and the problem-solving skills needed for data response sections.
Integrated Learning: Leverage your background in Math or Science to provide holistic support, identifying cross-subject synergies that improve a student's overall logical and analytical performance.
Customized Mentorship: Create personalized study plans, monitor student performance via mock exams, and provide detailed, actionable feedback.
Content Development: Assist in creating high-quality, exam-focused resources, including practice papers, summary notes, and quantitative drills.
Experience: Proven track record in teaching IB or A-Level Economics. Prior experience in a tuition centre or private coaching is highly preferred.
Academic Background: Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related Science discipline.
