EDITOR

The Job

• Performing all editorial activities leading to publication
• Ensuring the content and writing is accurate and appropriate for the readership
• Correcting spelling mistakes and grammatical errors and so on
• Creating artwork briefs to detail the content of illustrations and photographs
• Producing or working to a style checklist to ensure consistency in hyphenation, capitalisation, formatting, etc
• Proofreading

The Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics and related fields
• Degree in Humanities, English Linguistics and related fields
• Background/training in Music, Music Education, Piano or related fields is an added advantage
• A high standard of written and spoken English
• Enthusiastic, possess interpersonal skills, self-motivated and flexible
• Meticulous, organised, responsible and proactive
• Ability to adhere to tight deadlines amd maintain a professional standard of work
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply
• Immediate candidates preferred
• Salary commensurate with relevant work experience
