As part of the Professional Development team, Education Development Specialist (EDS) will play a critical role to uplift and transform Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) professional/pedagogical learning and capability building across NTUC First Campus (NFC)’s ECCE fraternity to derive better child outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of PD content for new and experienced Chinese teachers, using curriculum resources and guides as references
Equip new teachers and experienced teachers by conducting training sessions and providing onsite coaching
Provide professional guidance to Centre Core Team of assigned centres in the following areas:Translate curriculum knowledge to classroom practices and relate the latter to SPARKs criteriaClose practice gaps in pedagogy and curriculum implementationEnhance their curriculum leadership and capacity to support and guide centre teachers in their teaching and learning practices
Partner Team Leader in PD initiatives to improve the delivery and efficacy of PD to centres
Contribute to curriculum review taking cognisance of feedback received from MFS Centres.
Participate in NFC’s Task Forces and/or projects
Participate in professional development of team through professional learning and sharing, and mentoring of new colleagues
