Freelance Sports Coach

Keen with working with students from 7 to 12 years old, teaching multi-sports? (e.g Handball, Dodgeball, Captains Ball)

We are looking for candidates able to work from month of July - December 2024

Job Scope:

• Teaching values and character through sports
• Carry out fun activities and exercises for coordination, balance, agility, turning, jumping
• Maintain a professional image at all times and carry out lessons in a professional manner
• Engage, coach and inspire students to achieve their goals
• Be an approachable, positive role model with a fun, engaging approach and passion for coaching
• Demonstrate competency in various sports
• Assess students according to grading rubrics
• Exhibit classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage children
• Chaperones duties during camp
• Attend mandatory training for Insturctor
• Attend mandatory events such as Sports Camp (Day Camp)

Requirements:

• Valid MOE IRS Certificate (Preferred)
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Comfortable with travelling
• Any experience in coaching environment and/or in playing sports
• Coaching lessons are all after school hours (WEEKDAYS ONLY)
• Able to work on Wednesdays & Fridays
• Able to commit for a min of 6 months

Working Hours:

• 3.5 hours daily between 1:30pm - 6pm
