Job Summary

Join SMARTLAB as a Secondary and/or Junior College Physics and Mathematics Teacher to inspire students through engaging lessons and practical experiments, fostering academic excellence and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons for Secondary and/or Junior College Physics and Mathematics to enhance student understanding and performance
• Conduct Physics laboratory experiments and practical sessions aligned with curriculum requirements to provide hands-on learning experiences
• Prepare, administer, and mark worksheets, assignments, tests, and examination papers to assess and support student progress
• Monitor student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback to guide academic improvement
• Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high teaching standards
• Foster a positive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student engagement and respect
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching quality and student outcomes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Physics, Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Secondary and/or Junior College Physics and/or Mathematics
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Experience conducting Physics laboratory practical lessons is an advantage
• Familiarity with the Singapore Secondary and/or Junior College curriculum is preferred
